The theme for Ipsy Glam Bag Plus June 2019 was #ipsyblockparty and it contained 5 items.
Generation Clay Ultra Violet Brightening Purple Clay Mask $39.00
Sunday Riley C.E.O Vitamin C Rich Hydration Cream $65.00
Trestique Matte Colour + Shiny Balm Lip Crayon $25.00
Suva Beauty Hydra Liner & Brush Set $26.00
Tetris x Ipsy Block Party Eyeshadow Palette $24.00
Ultra Violet Brightening Purple Clay Mask by Generation Clay is loaded with ingredients that are good for your skin. It contains desert lime which hydrates and helps stimulate collagen growth and bentonite clay to deep clean your skin. Aloe vera soothes while Davidson plum – a super fruit, acts as a natural alpha hydroxy acid that brightens and rejuvenates your skin. I personally love this mask, from the first use I saw a difference in my skin. It leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, clean and bright. Definitely one of my top skincare products.
Sunday Riley C.E.O Vitamin C Rich Hydration Cream is infused with ultra potent vitamin C to help fight skin damage and visibly brighten your skin while adding a dewy, luminous glow. This does leave my skin feeling a little tacky immediately after application but absorbs into the skin after a few minutes. I will continue to use it and observe if there is any visible difference to my skin
Trestique Matte Colour + Shiny Balm Lip Crayon is a super cool product. It’s a dual ended lippie that can go from matte and opaque, to sheer and glossy. It’s got a creamy, matte berry crayon on one end and a moisturizing balm on the other. You can wear this alone or paired with other lip products. I really love this product. Its super longwearing and so comfortable on the lips. The magnetic closure is really cool as well.
Suva Beauty Hydra Liner & Brush Set is a water activated black eyeliner and brush combo. It’s a matte eyeliner that claims to be smudge, fade and transfer proof. I haven’t tried this product out yet but I will keep you posted with my view of the product when I do.
Ipsy partnered with the iconic video game Tetris on their 35th anniversary to create a limited edition collection celebrating different sizes, shapes and colours. In my box I received the tetris x ipsy block party eyeshadow palette. It contains 6 buildable shades. I haven’t tried the palette yet, as I wasn’t too pleased with the shade selection. I own a lot of palettes with shades like these that are of exceptional quality and have an assortment of strong shades that help anchor the looks that you create. These shadows weren’t very pigmented and were dry to the touch. It’s not a bad product, and you definitely will get good looks using this palette but it just didn’t appeal to me.
Overall I think this was a good box. The only product that I personally didn’t like was the eyeshadow palette which didn’t tickle my fancy.
I hope you all enjoyed this unboxing. I have a lot of boxes to run through and I will be uploading those posts within the week so do be on the lookout for those. I hope you all have a great day and Il talk to you all very soon.
